Gippsland for Tourism Victoria

A couple of months ago my great friend Matt Weston asked me to shoot stills and behind the scenes for an ad he was directing to promote Gippsland for Tourism Victoria. These are some pictures that came out of the trip, from shooting from helicopters to sanddunes, it was one of the best photographic experiences I’ve had. And not much beats staying in a haunted lighthouse for a week. You can view the ad below, too.

Whales from the helicopter

Corey, the artist responsible for the whimsical (500kg) sculpture of a spinifex (a type of grass indigenous to coastal Australia), made of local branches found on the ground in surrounding bush.
