While my good friend and director Matt Weston were on the opposite side of the world on a job, the only place we wanted to visit together was Iceland. Not knowing at all what to expect, the island’s beauty completely surprised us. Unfortunately we didn’t have the greatest luck with blue skies, nevertheless I’ve seen enough sheep and waterfalls to last a lifetime, with photos to prove it. This year’s Vivid festival showcased a series of inspiring talks from some of the most creative minds in the business, held at Sydney Opera House and the MCA. My focus as one of the official photographers was to capture speakers, attendees and the atmosphere of this colourful annual event.
